" Both my daughter Avery (now 11) and my son Alex (now 9) began taking piano with Kim when they each turned 7. What I have seen over the years is that my children have taken pride and delight from learning piano. Kim is wonderfully patient, encouraging and responsive to their successes and needs. She has a deep understanding and background in music education, which gives her students a solid foundation to work from, and helps them to achieve far beyond typical kids of the same age and class level.

My daughter began writing music shortly after beginning her lessons, using all the theory and technique that Kim has introduced her to...and as the years go by, I see amazing improvements in both her writing and playing. In the shorter amount of time my son has been playing, people are always impressed to hear how far along he is. He too fools around on the piano, figures out songs by ear and enjoys playing in front of his elementary school class at music time.

As my children take on other instruments, I have found that they learn extremely fast using the foundation Kim has provided.
