Kim Perseghin's National Standards....

Kim Perseghin's music method of teaching is recognized and endorsed by the Music Teacher's National Association. Her methods are highly successful and meet the criteria for the National Standards for Music Eduction. 

The criteria include:

• Performing on instruments alone and with others while using a varied repertoire of music.
• Improvising melodies, variations, and accompaniments.
• Composing and arranging music within specific guidelines.
• Reading and notating music.
• Listening to, ananlyzing, and describing music.
• Evaluating music and music performances.
• Understanding relationship between music, the other arts, and disciplines outside of the arts.
• Understanding music in relation to history and culture.
